For the 10th PGS Lecture Series of the Philippine Geographical Society for 2022, Geography alumnus Lawrence Anthony Dimailig will share his vast experience as a humanitarian geographer—highlighting some of the  humanitarian activities in ASEAN and how geographic knowledge and perspective are applied in each undertaking.

The presentation entitled Making Maps and Saving Lives: The Works of a Humanitarian Geographer happens on Monday, 24 October 2022 at 5:00PM via Zoom.

During the presentation, LA Dimailig who is currently based at the AHA Centre in Jakarta will provide concrete examples that amply demonstrate his application of the courses in the BS Geography programme.
