P3DRR

Participatory 3-Dimensional Mapping for Disaster Risk Reduction (P3DRR) is a project by the Philippine Geographical Society with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), funded by USAID – US Agency for International Development, and in cooperation with the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO).

This is an on-going project that aims to strengthen Public-Private Partnerships in DRR to build capacities of two communities (including families, their livelihoods, and small and medium enterprises) to mitigate risks that hazards bring about, to prepare for disasters, and to protect common critical assets that nurture the community and make it thrive.

The end goals of this project are to produce Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment (CDRA) Maps and Participatory 3-Dimensional Maps (P3DMs) in the partner barangays – Barangay Commonwealth and Barangay Bagumbayan of Quezon City; as well as to conduct tablet-based surveys to build the private sector profile for the purpose of disaster preparedness and risk reduction planning.
